FAQ
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, for a supplement you can bring 1 small to medium dog. Just add this option when making your booking and send us a picture of your dog to bookings@chilakelodge.uk . If booking for Goodwood Goodwoof your booking includes up to 2 dogs. Please bring your dogs own bed, bowls etc. Dogs are not allowed on our furniture or beds. All dogs must be kept on a lead in the park, some breeds are not allowed on site - please see our Terms & Conditions.
Is Chichester Lake Lodge Good for Children?
Due to Chichester Lake Lodge being on Ivy Lake with a deck extending over the water, we do not cater for children under 5 years old. Our lower deck is open to the water so we recommend that children and pets only use the main top deck which has a gate to the jetty. The entrance to the lodge is also gated for safety. The lake is also directly accessible from the banks on both sides of Chichester Lake Lodge.
Can I bring a BBQ, Firepit or Inflatible hot tub?
For safety reasons and in adherence to park rules, none of these items are permitted at Chichester Lake Lodge.
Can I Charge my Electric Vehicle Onsite?
There are now EV charging stations on site situated in the leisure centre carpark. Otherwise, the park power supply cannot currently support the power requirements to charge vehicles from holiday homes and charging of vehicles from Chichester Lake Lodge is prohibited.
Can I fish at Chichester Lake Lodge?
Yes! If you have a national rod license you can fish in Ivy lake directly from our deck and jetty. No bank fishing is allowed on Ivy Lake and only lodges on the lake have this facility. There are 11 lakes around the park and permits can be purchased to fish in these. Please see our Fishing Page for full details.
How Much are Entertainment/Swimming Passes?
Adults:
3-4 day Peak £25/person, Off Peak £15/person
7 Day Peak £40/person, Off Peak £25/person
Children:
3-4 day Peak £20/child, Off Peak £10/child
7 Day Peak £35/child, Off Peak £15/child
These prices are set by Park Holidays and have to be paid directly to them at the park reception office.
Can we stay in the Winter?
Chichester Lake Lodge is generally unavailable for hire during the Winter, but some selected dates may be available. Please check availability online via this website. If you encounter an error code, feel free to drop us an email or WhatsApp message to see if we can accommodate you. Please note that the park is much quieter during the Winter, and most of the leisure and entertainment facilities, including the pool and clubhouse, will probably not be available. As the price for using these is an optional extra for our bookings and paid directly to the park office, we cannot offer a discount because they are closed.
